The Circus Bim Bom Story
Circus Bim Bom blends historical fiction, global political intrigue, and romance, set against the quirky backdrop of a Soviet circus caught in the chaos of the USSR’s final years.
Based on a true story, the circus was stranded in America for six months after their Vegas mob producers mismanaged them.
Their animals and equipment were seized, the KGB pursued them to prevent defections, the mob boss schemed to force them to perform at his Vegas casino resort, and they had no money for food or lodging. Gorbachev abandoned them, while his Communist Party hardliner enemies sought to exploit them to weaken his regime.
The performers navigated love, betrayal, and the struggle for freedom, becoming unwitting pawns in a geopolitical chess match involving the KGB, Vegas mafia, Party hardliners, FBI, Newt Gingrich, and the Bush administration.
Told by the enigmatic Ringmaster, who isn’t above “embellishing the truth,” this story explores resilience, connection, and the power of self-determination.
